What are the requirements??

There are not many requirements, just a desire to serve your community.  A background check will be performed.  If you are accepted you will then serve a six month probationary period.  During this time you must attend 50% of all scheduled company activities.

Do you have to Fight Fires??

No!!!  It takes hard working people to support the fire fighting activities of the department.  WE HAVE A JOB FOR EVERYONE!!!

Do you need to have training???

If you choose to become a firefighter YES.  The department has in house training every Wednesday.  The department will also provide training at local fire schools.  All training fee are paid by the department.  These can be completed at your own pace.

Firefighter

EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) / First Responder

Accounting

Photography

Public Relations

Fund Raising

Building Maintenance

Record Keeping.
